A new commercial for the new BlackBerry Torch is on air, thanks to the RIM’s hard work - Have a problem using the phone’s organizer?

The BlackBerry Bold and Curve phones have an organizer that can make you keep in touch with your office at anytime of the day, thanks to its manufacturer the Research in Motion. The personal organizer which is also built in has the tools that make this a reality. You can create and even monitor the future appointments, meetings, reminders and even the conference calls. A great feature with this phone is that with a single touch of the button you can join conference calls as well as add any contacts to your meetings. In addition, there is the syncing capability where you can hold same information between your new Blackberry and your computer. This feature is also common with the HTC phones where all you need is the USB cable, the sync application and your computer. The following are the guidelines to make this feature a reality.

To get the phone’s organizer feature, open up the main menu for your new BlackBerry by pressing the menu button and then select the calendar option. In the calendar option, you can choose to switch the calendar view by pressing the view feature. You can also decide to have weekly view which is broken further by hours or any other view category of your choice. Using your forefinger, you can slide across the screen and move this calendar to another week, month or day.

To create an appointment, you simply press the menu button to select new appointment. In your first line, enter the appointments’ subject. The second line can contain the location of this meeting. You can also choose to enter the starting and the ending time of such appointments. You will then push on the save button to have your entry saved. You can also choose to set up an alarm or even a new task from such a menu. However, to do so the options will require date and time for them to be effected.

To sync the calendar in your new BlackBerry with that in your computer, you will use the USB cable to do so. After connecting the phone to the computer, you will select the organizer found in the desktop software and then go ahead to configure the settings. You will be prompted to select a program that you will need to sync with and by clicking on the sync option, the process will be completed.
