Samsung Galaxy S2 Mini is Pocket Friendly

First, it was the Samsung Galaxy S, and then came the Galaxy S2. Now Samsung is launching the mini version of the Galaxy S2 Smartphone that is set to become another popular S model in the industry. Despite the fact that launching a phone lying in the mid-range of the smartphones segment is not such a good idea, Samsung is still willing to launch the Samsung Galaxy S2 Mini Smartphone with a conviction that it is the next big thing on the smartphone market.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 Mini is just a smaller version of the Galaxy S2, meant for comfortable handling and carrying. This is why the Mini version is anticipated to make its mark on the market just as the Galaxy S2 did when it was launched. This decrease in size will see a reduction of the 4.3-inch Super AMOLED touch screen of the Galaxy S2 into a 3.7-inch screen display. Besides the AMOLED technology, the Galaxy S2 Mini is offering the TouchWiz user interface and the Gorilla Glass display, which are remarkable features and add up to the portability aspect of this phone.

You might think that the phone is too small to have a slot for an external MicroSD card, but that is not the case. This phone, just like the Galaxy S2, has a slot that can accept a memory card of up to 32GB. This is an incredible amount of memory for such a small-sized phone, excluding the internal memory that will come with it. The camera of the Samsung Galaxy S2 Mini is 5 megapixels, which is less than the Galaxy S2 camera. This means that performance will not be the same. But all the other features, such as Geo Tagging and autofocus options, are quite similar.

These camera features will however make the Mini version stand out among other Samsung phones. The Mini handset has a powerful processor of 1.4GHz, which is an improvement of the 1GHz processor of the Galaxy S2, although it is not a dual core unit. The Mini version also runs the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system and has a 3G speed that caters for fast browsing and navigation around the phone.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 Mini not only has attractive prices, but also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, IM, GPS and other features that will see it make its way to the top in the phone rankings. With all the above mentioned features in design, the Galaxy S2 Mini is pocket friendly and has high portability.
